Designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the surrounding country is a walker’s paradise, with footpaths and trails leading across lush green fields and rolling hills. Very close by is Capel-le-Ferne, home to the touching and informative National Memorial to the Few, a place to reflect upon, and learn about Britain’s air defences during WWII.
