In the heart of the 'Bourbonnais', in the Auvergne region, just 25km from Moulins, sits Chateau du Marquis de Tracy, built during the reign of Louis XIII, and the source of inspiration for Georges Simenon and his novel, the 'Saint Fiacre Case'.
Nestled in the heart of an English style park of 20 hectares, kept cool by 2 ponds, the elegant Chateau du Marquis de Tracy will comfortably accommodate up to 15 adults (3 extra beds for children and 1 baby bed) in 8 bedrooms. It is fully equipped with all modern facilities such as Wi-Fi access throughout the castle. There are plenty of hikes to do around the castle and the lakes. The fun park of "Le Pal" is located less than 20 km from the castle. The National Center for stage costumes is within 25 km in the heart of the historical city of Moulins.

- the beautiful arboretum of Baleine (30 km)
- the departement of Allier with around 500 castles, 40 of which open their doors to visitors, such as the castle of Saint Aubin (20 km)

Accommodation
The chateau is adorned with antique decoration, wood panelling, large fireplaces, paintings and hangings. There are five large bedrooms, each one with a bathroom (with bathtub and showerhead) and a flat screen television. Three smaller bedrooms, each with a television, share a common bathroom (also with a bathtub and a showerhead).
There is a large living room, a smaller one that also serves as a library, a dining room, and a further room equipped with Sat TV with international and sport channels, DVD and video. Each of these living areas has a large antique fireplace. The kitchen and laundry are fully equipped for your convenience.
Outside there is a wonderful terrace with garden furniture, a vegetable garden, a table football table and a large swimming pool with sunbeds.
Facilities include: BBQ, petanque ground, Wi-Fi access throughout the castle, washing machine and dryer, dish washer, microwave, 2 ovens, cooking tools, Satellite TV, 2 fridges with freezer.
