About this property

Villa Periboia is a newly constructed waterside property situated in Skaloma, Loutraki, Peloponnese. Positioned close to the water’s edge, this villa is well-suited for large groups or families seeking a peaceful, private retreat with easy access to beach activities. The villa is equipped with canoes and paddle boards for water sports and offers a near-private beach experience. It features ten-bedroom suites accommodating up to twenty guests, with beautifully landscaped gardens, terraces, citrus and olive trees, and a scenic mountain backdrop. Outdoor amenities include a contemporary dining and lounge area, as well as an extensive barbecue setup.

Designed with entertaining in mind, Villa Periboia features spacious areas for gatherings, set against a backdrop of ocean views and sunsets. The villa includes a state-of-the-art kitchen suitable for large-scale catering, and the option to hire a private chef. The kitchen’s modern facilities allow for meal preparation that can be enjoyed either indoors in the open-plan living area or outdoors on the terrace. There is also a separate breakfast area. The interior is furnished with contemporary pieces and designed to be comfortable and stylish, with imaginative lighting and a calm colour palette. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors ensure abundant natural light and seamless integration between indoor and outdoor spaces, with each room offering views of either the sea or the garden.

Each bedroom is equipped with an ensuite bathroom, direct access to the grounds, king-size or twin beds, and a private, furnished terrace. The bedrooms are well-appointed with high-quality linens, soft furnishings, modern art, and some feature fireplaces. One suite is designed for guests with disabilities. The overall ambience of Villa Periboia resembles that of a sophisticated boutique hotel.

While the interiors are well-designed, the outdoor space offers exceptional features. Guests can enjoy champagne while taking in the views, use the top-tier Napoleon grill for barbecues, relax on the expansive lawns, or dine al fresco under contemporary canopies. The outdoor lounge area is ideal for pre-dinner drinks and planning activities. Water toys are included in the rental, and wooden steps lead to the beach, where guests can swim in the clear waters of the Corinthian Sea.

Villa Periboia is nestled beautifully next to the beach in Skaloma, Loutraki. You may be tempted to stay put in this luxurious paradise enjoying beach life all day long though there is plenty to do and see in this dreamy area. You can try your luck in the casino, get immersed and refreshed in ancient mineral springs that will rejuvenate your body and soul, enjoy fine dining and delicious wines or visit fascinating archaeological sights and Byzantine monuments.

Holidays in the Peloponnese offer gorgeous sandy beach days, natural countryside to explore and tales of ancient Greece. You will discover sprawling olive groves, lush forests, pretty pink flowers of the native almond trees and ancient monuments. Thanks to the temples and palaces sprinkled over the region, it is known as the mythical heart of Greece. If you get chance to get to Olympia, you can see the region which hosted the first ever Olympic Games.

Ancient Corinth boasts a rich history and had surpassed Athens by the time Apostle Paul visited in 54 AD. Key attractions include the ‘Bema’ where Paul stood before Gallio, and the Acrocorinth, offering stunning views of Achaia, the Gulf of Corinth, and the Saronic Gulf. Known as the second naval power of its time and the birthplace of sculptor Lyssipos, Corinth is now a cosmopolitan resort famous for its Agiorgitiko wines and exquisite Greek cuisine. The northern coast is fertile with olives, grapes, and vegetables, while Mount Killini and Lake Stymphalia dominate the landscape. Home to the ancient Nemea and Isthmia games, Corinth is filled with notable ruins such as the Temple of Apollo and the ancient Agora.

The whole area is a nature lover’s paradise with many lakes, springs, rolling hills and uninhabited islands. You can explore the mountains and remote villages including Nemea, Goura, Sofiko and Feneos. Killini is a modest ski resort with some winter sports. The mountain is the second highest in the Peloponnese after Taygetus. There are more than 100 plant types endemic to the region of the 1000 found and numerous hiking paths. The two gulfs, Gulf of Corinth and Saronic Gulf are ideal for swimming. Doxa Lake and Stymphalia Lake are beautiful, surrounded by pine forests. Perachora is perhaps the best Corinthian area for diving as well as swimming. The beaches of Sterna, Scalosia and Stravas and the Heraion Lagoon are stunning. Heraion of Perchora boasts one of the largest lighthouses of Corinth. The views of the south coast of Corinth with the impressive mountains is absolutely magnificent.

Pissia is 15km from Loutraki and 4km from Perchora on the lush pine slope of the Gerania Mountains. Its deep ravine brimming with plane trees and water gives the village a special beauty. There are many churches including Saint George which is built in a natural cave. The Church of Agios Athanasios dates back to the 15th century. Even within a short walk of the villa ruins of an ancient temple and stone tomb.

Limni Vouliagmeni or The Blue Lake is a unesco listed place of exceptional natural beauty. This small brilliant blue lagoon is 6km from the villa and close to the archaeological site of Heraion. It is 2km long and 1km wide with a sandy beach and a narrow channel. The salty water is very warm and allows swimming until late in the autumn.  Take a boat trip around the coast from the lake and to hidden coves and beaches, perfect to enjoy a picnic lunch.

Schinos is a beautiful, picturesque seaside village at the foot of the Gerania, thirty to forty minutes from Loutraki. There are many hiking trails and climbing options in the Gerakina Gorge. The beach enjoys popular beach bars with lots of music from famous DJ’s in the summer months.

We were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely visit again! The location is a bit isolated and not the easiest to reach but in return you get a very secluded piece of paradise, including a private beach just across the street. The hosts were very calm and friendly, really liked their energy. Especially our cook Dimitri was a very interesting personality and his breakfast was very tasty! I found very kind that upon our arrival, water, beer and some soft drinks were included in the mini fridge for us without cost. The check in desk and kitchen are open-air, which I found really cool as a concept! The location is also near the Ireon Lake which is an excellent summer getaway and not so widely known! All in all it was a very pleasant stay and we really enjoyed our time there!

I loved the relaxed and almost meditating aspect of the place, the amazing beach right in front of the hotel (the sea was so clean and calm, even when it was windy outside the sea was like a pool), the breakfast was awesome and maybe more than enough (the chef is top quality!), the room was clean and spacious enough for two people and most important the remote and peaceful location. Some people mention that it is difficult to find which is not accurate since Google Maps drives you directly to the property.
