Errit is a peaceful, remote cottage in County Roscommon, ideal for large family gatherings and those seeking tranquillity. Guests have enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, spacious and comfortable accommodation, and the opportunity for activities such as rowing on the lake. While some found the location challenging to find and the water system limited for large groups, the overall experience is one of relaxation and reconnection with nature and family.
Reviews are mixed regarding cleanliness. While some guests found the house very clean and well-maintained, one review highlighted issues with cleanliness, including the need for a thorough cleaning and the presence of dust and cobwebs. This suggests room for improvement.
The location is praised for its peace and quiet, with stunning views and a lake nearby. However, some guests mentioned the remoteness and difficulty in finding the property, as well as the lack of nearby amenities, which could be a drawback for some.
Guests generally found the house comfortable, with ample space for families and groups. The serene environment contributed to the comfort level, although one review mentioned old, musty furniture, slightly lowering the score.
The facilities, including boats for the lake and a spacious house accommodating large groups, were appreciated. However, the absence of Wi-Fi and a water system that struggles with high demand have been noted as areas that could be enhanced.
While guests have expressed appreciation for the facilities and the landlord's provision of local interest books and maps, there is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches in the reviews. Therefore, it is not possible to assess this category.

The house was beautiful and comfortable if somewhat remote, but for someone who comes from an area of nothing but noise and light pollution as we all do it was heavenly If I arrange another golf trip to that area of Ireland rest assured Errit will be my first port of call Marvellous place

The surroundings are beautiful and we could walk the dog from the house without coming into social contact. We found the house to be very comfortable and easy to care for.
