The Lodge at Raheengraney House receives generally positive feedback for its comfortable beds, welcoming host, and tranquil countryside setting. Guests appreciate the property's charm, spaciousness, and the thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, although some mention areas in need of refurbishment and maintenance.
Most guests found the property clean, particularly the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. However, a few reviews mentioned issues such as cobwebs, dead flies, and a need for a deep clean, slightly lowering the score.
The location is praised for its beautiful countryside and tranquillity, with easy access to local attractions and walks. The proximity to Dublin and other villages is also appreciated, making it a desirable rural retreat.
Guests consistently mention the comfort of the beds and the cosy atmosphere of the property. The presence of underfloor heating and a pot-bellied stove adds to the comfort level, although there were some concerns about heating issues.
The property is well-equipped with a stocked kitchen and other amenities like a sauna. However, some guests reported maintenance issues such as outdated showers, rotting window frames, and poorly fitted flooring, which affects the score.
Many guests were delighted by the thoughtful gestures from the hosts, including welcome hampers, freshly baked goods, and helpful local information. While these gifts greatly enhance the experience, they are personal touches and may vary.

It is an ideal property for a nice relaxing break. It is very well equipped and the owner was lovely and helpful. The only slight criticism was the WiFi was a bit patchy at times which irritated my son slightly but otherwise we had a really nice time.
George
It was warm and comfortable. Beds were great and all facilities working well. We like to walk and visit places of interest and John was very helpful with info on the locality and beyond. He and Jacinta were very personable and hospitable.
Rebecca
