Carrick 3 miles. A delightful detached house near Bannow, exceptionally placed on the County Wexford coastline. With great sea views and the beach only down the lane, this is a perfect destination for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy a relaxing break away. This comfortable cottage has three good-sized bedrooms upstairs, one of which has an en-suite shower, as well as a family bathroom. On the ground floor there is a dining room with solid fuel stove, and a sitting room with an open fire, both great for taking it easy at the end of the day either relaxing over a tasty meal, vegging out with a movie on the TV or curled up with a good book. There is also a well-equipped kitchen with dining area where you can prepare a tasty feast, and then move into the sunroom with a refreshing drink at the end of the day. Step outside with a glass of wine and take a seat looking out over the Celtic Sea while the youngsters run around the garden, or take a stroll down to the beach and go for a quick dip. Carrick is a quick jaunt down the road and has a few pubs where you can grab a drink and a bite to eat. Alternatively, a little further away is Wellingtonbridge that should tend to all of your basic needs. Travel a bit further and see the likes of the Hook Head Lighthouse, the Dunbrody Famine Ship, the Duncannon Fort, New Ross, Waterford and Wexford. An outstanding property that will be enjoyed at any time of the year.
