We enjoyed the nearby Carne beach, Kilmore Quay and the shops in Wexford.

Our group of seven people found plenty of room to enjoy being together while also having lots of space in separate zones. The large kitchen/dining/living area is a very comfortable, well-equipped space with lovely views and there's a patio area in the big garden for meals/snacks/reading outdoors. The location is great for birdwatching (we made several visits to Lady's Island lake and Tacumshin Lake) and we all enjoyed outings to Kilmore Quay for swimming and walking, as well as walks to the beach at the end of the road (2 km from house). Great food at Mary Barry's and the Saltee Chipper. Brian (the owner) is very helpful and swift to deal with any issues that arise.
