The Cottage in Quilty has been praised for its friendly hosts, spaciousness, and scenic views, with guests enjoying the proximity to local attractions and the inclusion of utilities in the price. While some guests suggested additional kitchenware and noted early light due to a skylight, the welcoming touches like a care package on arrival were appreciated. However, one review cited cleanliness issues and a musty smell, which detracted from their experience.
Reviews are mixed regarding cleanliness. While several guests found The Cottage to be clean and well-kept, one review highlighted significant cleanliness issues, which suggests variability in the standard of cleanliness between stays.
The location is consistently praised for its beautiful views and convenience for exploring County Clare and its attractions, making it an ideal base for visitors.
Guests generally found The Cottage comfortable, with positive remarks about the peaceful environment and the property's spaciousness. However, there were suggestions for improvements such as additional utensils and a blind for the skylight.
Facilities at The Cottage are well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and spaciousness suitable for groups. Some guests suggested the addition of more kitchenware and a barbecue, and there were isolated reports of maintenance issues.
The owner's thoughtfulness is evident in the provision of a care package upon arrival and the inclusion of utilities in the cost. While such gestures are warmly received, it is noted that these are not guaranteed for every stay.

Some more cutlery, dishes for cooking and serving food, a couple of Pyrex jugs and a few more wine glasses would be good additions in the kitchen.
