These views can be enjoyed with the outdoor seating on the patio. Park up off-road, unpack your belongings and make yourself at home in your lovely new dwelling. Get to work in the fully-equipped kitchen, where you'll find everything you need to prepare a delicious, home-cooked meal for the whole group to savour gathered around the dining table. Killarney town and all it has to offer is just a short distance further, so while this property is in the quiet countryside, it is a perfect base for exploring what Kerry has to offer. For a day out in nature, embark on a scenic stroll along the Tomies Woodland Trail towards the waterfall of O'Sullivans Cascade which sits on the edge of the magnificent Lough Lean. Across the water, the town of Killarney awaits, where you can meander around the greens of Killarney National Park. Take a ride in a jaunting car, visit the historical sites of Ross Castle, Innisfallen Island and Muckross House, just to name a few. There is a shop Kissane’s Food Store, a mile from the house, which is always well-stocked of all the essentials. Nearby, Beaufort village holds another shop, three bars and one restaurant. The world famous Kate Kearney’s Cottage is located in the Gap of Dunloe, which has traditional Irish music nightly during the summer season. At the foot of the Macgillycuddy Reeks, close to the Gap of Dunloe, lies the little village of Beaufort. This area offers beautiful mountain views and is a nice place to go for a walk. The village is located between Killorglin and Killarney and has shops, pubs, and restaurants. Killarney is a popular destination for tourists every year because of its expansive countryside, nearby beaches, yearly festivals, and vibrant nightlife, which features traditional music in many of the pubs and bars. There are a variety of activities available in the area, including guided ascents to the peak of Ireland's tallest mountain, Carrauntoohil, as well as riding, walking, cycling, golf, and fishing.
