The local area is rich in outdoor pursuits, with hill walkers, anglers and birdwatchers all particularly well catered for - the property name Ceol Na N'ean means 'music of the birds'. Take the scenic drive across Moll's Gap to the famous town of Killarney, and enjoy stunning vistas of the Kerry lakelands as you go. Alternatively, head for the renowned Ring of Kerry coastal route for spectacular seascapes and quaint, picturesque towns and villages along your way. Closer to home, the village of Sneem boasts a selection of welcoming, traditional pubs and restaurants as well as Blueberry Hill Farm, where younger visitors can experience the life of a working farm. With so much to see and do in the area, this delightful Sneem cottage is the perfect spot from which to start your Irish adventure.
The village of Sneem is set between the towns of Kenmare and Waterville in County Kerry and offers shops, pubs and a number of tea rooms. It is said to be impossible to complete a circuit of the famous Ring of Kerry without passing through Sneem, known as the 'Knot on the Ring of Kerry'. The popular town of Kenmare has wonderful coastlines, winding streets and interesting boutiques. while the coastal town of Waterville is only a short drive away. There is so much to do in this part of Ireland.

The surrounding area is gorgeous and the views from the house are spectacular, particularly from the kitchen. Our dog was also welcome, which was a great amenity that meant we could travel with him! Our stay was perfect and we hope to be back.

Lovely views from the kitchen / dining room windows. Useful having 2 bathrooms with family. We would return for more mountain walking!

It is far better than the photos imply. Every window offers the most superb view. The cottage is clean and comfortable. The owner is kind and friendly and met us on arrival to explain how cottage worked. The weather was sunny all week and we enjoyed the bonus is a fantastic display of Northern Lights, A lovely tranquil place, we were sorry to leave.
