Guests say

Watch House Cottage on Valencia Island receives high praise for its cleanliness, stunning location, and welcoming touches. Guests appreciate the well-equipped space, comfortable furnishings, and the convenience of local amenities. The picturesque views and proximity to the harbour make it a desirable destination, despite some minor maintenance issues and comfort concerns with lounge seating.

The majority of guests report the cottage as spotlessly clean, with only one mention of a damp smell in the wet room. The high level of cleanliness contributes positively to the overall experience.

The location is consistently lauded for its amazing views and proximity to the harbour, local shops, and ferry. It's considered an ideal base for exploring and enjoying outdoor activities.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, though there is a single comment about the lounge seating not being the most comfortable. Overall, the comfort level is well-regarded.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the cottage being well-equipped. However, some guests mention issues with a shower screen, dishwasher, and a lack of cooking utensils, suggesting room for improvement in maintenance.

Several guests mention thoughtful touches such as fresh milk, tea, and fruit on arrival. While these are appreciated, it is important to note that such personal touches, though delightful, are not guaranteed.

The property is beautiful and in a great location. The beds were so comfortable and the pillows were the nicest I have ever slept on. Totally pet friendly and the garden is perfect especially for a small dog as its totally enclosed. Our little dog loved it. Just wished we had booked for two weeks instead of one.
