Heading up the wooden staircase, arrive at the well-presented double bedroom, with a convenient en-suite shower room and windows overlooking the setting. Admire the surroundings even more by taking a seat on the balcony with a glass of wine or a good book. For a relaxing night in a traditional Irish pub, head to the village of Terryglass. Within reach is the county town, Nenagh, showcasing beautiful architecture and wide range of places to shop, eat and drink. Take a trip to Holy Island in the middle of Lough Derg. Bellview Cottage is a comfortable countryside cottage to be enjoyed at any time of year.
Terryglass is a village in the north of County Tipperary. It offers two pubs and two historic wells both said to have healing powers. Every August the Terryglass Arts Festival takes place. The county has attractions including Lough Derg, the third largest lough in Ireland, ideal for sailing and fishing. Tthere are boat trips to Holy Island. Further afield is Portumna Castle and Gardens and the towns of Nenagh and Thurles are within driving distance, the latter boasts a cathedral and museum. The county has historic sites including the Rock of Cashel castle, Ormonde Castle situated next to the River Suir and the Cahir Castle. A superb location for experiencing a perfect Irish getaway.
