Charter a boat and try fishing off Donegal, or sail over to one of the many islands off the county, such as Cruit, Owey or the Aran Islands, and discover some of Ireland's long history. A short scenic drive will take you to the beautiful Glenveagh National Park in the heart of the Derryveagh Mountains; with 16,000 acres to explore it is a walker’s paradise. Annagry is a lovely village all year round.

Very modern, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped with Wi-Fi Netflix etc. A really excellent Supervalue within easy reach. Very good beaches and walks in the area, especially the one adjacent to Donegal Airport- the approach to it is rated in the top ten internationally. A hidden gem is the second hand bookshop in Annagry with a huge number of items - all at 2 or 3 euros. Bernard the owner was very welcoming and helpful. The house is superb value for money.

! So comfortable, well finished, well maintained. Loved the fireplace in the living room (you wouldn't need the heat out of it as the house is warm but the flame lights were cozy in the evening!) Lovely garden. Peaceful surroundings. Had a conversation with the owner one of the days and turned out we stayed in another fantastic property he owns in Crohy head last year (on the otherside of Dungloe), equally as beautiful! We were very sad to leave! Only a 10 minute drive to Dungloe and 10/15 minute (easy) walk to shop and pub. Stayed as a couple plus extended family of 4 with 2 dogs. You don't have to drive far for nice beaches and walks. Will be booking early for next year!!
