Guests say

Teach Phaidí Mhóir is a cosy cottage nestled in the scenic Donegal countryside, offering a remote and peaceful retreat with stunning mountain views. Guests have praised the comfortable beds, the beautiful location, and the cottage's charm, particularly enjoying the outdoor space and the open fire. While some found the cottage and its facilities to be spotless and well-decorated, others noted issues with cleanliness and maintenance. The property's seclusion and lack of phone signal are offset by good Wi-Fi, and the hosts are commended for their kindness and helpfulness.

Reviews on cleanliness are mixed, with some guests finding the cottage spotless while others reported the need to clean upon arrival and issues with rubbish bins. This suggests room for improvement in ensuring consistent cleanliness for all guests.

The location is highly praised for its beauty and tranquillity, with stunning mountain views and proximity to local attractions. However, some guests found the cottage difficult to find, indicating a need for clearer directions or signage.

Guests generally find the cottage comfortable, especially noting the cosy beds and living area with an open fire. However, there are comments about the small bathroom and shower, which suggests that while the cottage is comfortable overall, some areas could be enhanced.

The facilities are appreciated, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and good Wi-Fi. However, there are remarks about outdated furnishings and the lack of a washing machine, which affects the overall score for facilities and maintenance.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches from the hosts that would fall under the category of thoughtfulness. Therefore, this score is set to null due to insufficient information.

Would we stay here again , DEFINITELY. We could not find your cottage from the directions. Any one from outside the area won't know were the Fintra road is.I think road numbers are more useful. It may be my problem but my 2 sat navs would not recognise the area code you supplied.10 out of 10 for your cottage.

Great facilities with Wi-Fi and tv. Directions to find not great and we had moulded bread in cupboards and bins not emptied. Small points though - all about the location which was great!
