Owl Cottage is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its stunning, well-equipped setting and added luxuries such as a hot tub. The secure garden is appreciated by pet owners, and the property's location offers beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. Some guests have noted the thoughtful touches by the owners, enhancing the stay.
Most guests found Owl Cottage to be clean and tidy, with only a few mentioning issues such as cobwebs and dog hairs. The overall impression is that the cottage is well-maintained, though there is room for improvement in deep cleaning.
The location is highly praised for its peacefulness, beautiful views, and proximity to local amenities and attractions. Some guests found it a bit hard to find, especially due to the industrial gate and signage, but overall the location contributes positively to the experience.
Guests generally find the cottage comfortable, with a cosy atmosphere and a well-received hot tub. However, some have noted that the bedroom and bathroom sizes are restrictive, particularly for those with mobility issues, and the mattress firmness was not to everyone's liking.
While the cottage is praised for being well-equipped and having a secure garden, there are mixed reviews regarding maintenance issues such as the shower temperature and oven tripping the power. Due to the lack of consistent feedback on maintenance, a score cannot be accurately provided.
Many guests mention the thoughtful gestures by the owners, such as leaving milk, chocolates, and a visitors' folder. These touches are appreciated and add to the welcoming atmosphere of the cottage. However, it should be noted that such gifts are subject to change and not guaranteed.

The cottage is very well equipped and clean with plenty to do in the vicinity. It should be noted that the bedroom is quite small and anyone with restricted mobility may struggle to get into one side if the bed which has very little space.
