Second Cottage in Cheltenham is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location within walking distance to Stow-on-the-Wold. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, the warm and inviting atmosphere, and the convenient parking. The property serves as an excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds, with many noting they would return for another stay.
The property consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning how clean and well-maintained the cottage is. One review suggested a deeper clean in certain areas, but this appears to be an isolated comment.
The location is frequently highlighted as excellent, with its proximity to local shops, restaurants, and attractions. One review mentioned an issue with local amenities being closed during their stay, but this seems to be a rare event rather than a reflection on the location itself.
Guests find the property to be comfortable, with several reviews pointing out the warmth and cosiness of the cottage. The comfortable furnishings and the presence of central heating contribute to the overall comfort of the stay.
The facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the well-supplied kitchen and the parking availability. However, there are suggestions for improvement in reading lamps and checking electrical outlets, indicating minor maintenance issues.
While many reviews express satisfaction with the property's amenities and features, there is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the host. Therefore, it is not possible to assess thoughtfulness in terms of gifts, and the score is set to null.

The sitting room was comfortable, the fireplace was warming and inviting. I would suggest putting better reading lamps beside the chairs in the sitting room. Also, the outlet for the lamp near the dining table was not working.

My little 1 year old granddaughter loved exploring the cottage. Will definitely be back. Thank you. Mary & Paul Jeffery

Everywhere we wanted to visit was within a 10-15 minute drive. The kitchen has everything you need and the bedrooms are comfortable. Great to have space to park the car off-road.
