Red Fawn Cottage is a well-regarded property in Blockley, praised for its comfort, superb location, and charming character. Guests appreciate the well-furnished rooms, comfortable beds, and the picturesque garden. The steep stairs are a common mention, suggesting caution for those with mobility issues. The village's amenities, including a local pub and shop, add to the pleasant stay.
Most guests found the cottage to be immaculately clean, though there were isolated mentions of unemptied bins and a smell possibly from pets. These seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.
The location is highly praised for its quietness, proximity to local amenities, and easy access to the Cotswolds, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.
Guests consistently mention the comfortable beds and the cosy atmosphere of the cottage. However, the steep stairs and heating issues have been noted as concerns for some.
The cottage is well-equipped, but comments about steep stairs, lack of a washing machine, and minor maintenance issues like loose toilet handles suggest room for improvement.
While guests have mentioned welcome touches like tea, coffee, and biscuits, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtful gestures or gifts to accurately score this category.

This is our 2nd visit to the property, we will visit again. We did have a slight problem with the garden, there is a large hole in the left hand side of the fence. Our dog ended up in the next door neighbours garden then the field at the back of the garden. Itâs quite hard to see the hole as a tree covers it, but our small dog managed to find it.

Immaculately clean, comfortable beds. The owners clearly make a great effort to make your stay enjoyable. The stairs to the bedrooms are steep and would not be suitable for people with limited mobility. But that aside, very hard to find fault.
