Situated in a beautiful village in the Cotswolds, your holiday cottage offers easy access to all the delights of the region. Wake up to the sight of rolling hills, meadows, and serene woodlands just beyond your window. Your holiday cottage is a gateway to the Cotswolds' breathtaking landscapes, offering endless opportunities for scenic walks, hikes, and nature exploration. Every season brings its unique charm, from the vibrant greens of spring to the cozy ambiance of autumn. Head into nearby Bourton-on-the-Water (2.2 miles), affectionately known as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’, with a collection of stone bridges that cross the gentle River Windrush which flows through the town. Enjoy one of the pubs and cafes along with attractions for everyone including Birdland and the Model Village. Another highlight of the region, Stow-on-the-Wold, is 5.8 miles away and great for a walk to admire the traditional honey-coloured Cotswold buildings and to visit one of the independent shops.
The property itself is set on a farm in Little Rissington and is part of a large barn conversion with three other units within the barn. There is a further barn with an additional four lets on the site. Access to the property is through the enclosed garden and brings you straight into the open plan ground floor. The lounge area is furnished beautifully with comfortable sofas and a Smart TV to enjoy a movie together. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for a self-catered holiday, including a double electric oven, ideal for larger groups travelling together. Enjoy a celebratory meal on the dining table that will comfortably seat all eight guests. The property has a convenient separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. You will also find a downstairs shower room. The ground floor is completed by a further living space which has a pool table for guests to enjoy. Head upstairs, where you will find the four bedrooms, two king-size, one with an en-suite shower room, and one double and one twin. Completing this floor is a bathroom with a shower and a bath.
The enclosed outdoor patio is accessed through the lounge and has a patio area with seating, an artificial lawned area, and a fantastic hot tub. Relax in total privacy with a drink and plan your next day's activities.
