The stunning property is believed to date back approximately three hundred years and combines a mixture of traditional timber frame and Cotswold stone building styles. On arrival park up on the off-road parking space, before entering into the sitting room that exudes traditional character with oak beams and frames and exposed Cotswold stone walls, where you can relax on the inviting seating whilst watching a film on the Smart TV, as you are kept warm and toasty by the woodburning stove and underfloor heating. Moving through the property on the beautiful flagstone flooring you will come to the kitchen/dining room, where you can cook delicious meals using the contemporary appliances as you retreat to the beautiful dining table to indulge in your meals and toast to an exciting holiday that lies ahead. Here, you can delight in the peaceful views down the lane towards the church, where you can also make use of the charcoal barbecue during the warmer months. April cottage had every we needed, great location with lots of walks and beautiful scenery on the doorstep (The welcome folder was very handy with information and suggested walks; as there was a lot of muddy footwear it might would be useful to have an outside hose?). We all loved the underfloor heating and fireplace, thank you for our relaxing stay.
