Willows House sleeps 8+2 people, in four bedrooms, with three bathrooms (with the +2 option being a sofa bed in the ground floor study). You will be spoilt for room on the driveway as there is space available for up to six cars, so everyone in your party will have the benefit of parking right on the property ground.

Opening the front door into a large hallway to store your coats and boots, you enter the well laid out ground floor. The open plan dual aspect living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting room is a lovely sociable room, extending along the entire rear of the property and letting in riches of sunlight through the large French windows. It has been stylishly decorated with smart furnishings and lovely panelled walls and has beautiful views of the garden and countryside beyond; you are in true serenity. The kitchen provides everything you will need during your stay and has a large centre island. The Cotswold stone fireplace contains a open fire for you to get crackling away on cold evenings.

If you’re looking for some peace and quiet, head over to the snug located at the front of the house, which contains and large L-shaped sofa and large TV, perfect for snuggling up with your loved ones and catching up on your favourite show.

Next to the snug you will find a handy utility room and a convenient cloakroom, as well as the study containing a sofa which doubles up as a double bed on request, acting as the fifth bedroom in the property.

Climb the stairs up to the first floor where you will find four immaculately presented bedrooms. The master is a bright, triple aspect room containing a king-size bed and boasting stone mullion windows and sloping ceilings. It benefits from an en-suite shower room with an invigorating rain shower. The second bedroom has views overlooking the back garden and the front on the house, through the dual aspect windows. The en-suite is well-presented and contains a lovely rain shower. Also overlooking the garden, bedroom three contains a double bed with gorgeous views of the rolling countryside beyond. The final bedroom is a twin room and is perfect for children.

A stunning freestanding bath lies in the bathroom for you to run yourself a bath and enjoy total relaxation.

When the sun is beaming down in the morning, you and your guests can gather in the enclosed back garden which is a large area, mostly lawn, surrounded by beautiful shrubs, flowers and trees. A sweet bench lies on the lawn area and provides a welcoming shade, as well as an outdoor table with seating for eight for you and your guests to enjoy meals al fresco. Make use of the barbecue that is provided and soak up the summer – or winter – sun!

Willows House sits in Lower Swell, located just a mile from market town Stow-on-the-Wold, where you will find an array of local amenities; visit the Fosse Gallery to admire an array of contemporary British art, indulge in a bite to eat and drinks at The Stag at Stow, add a touch of opulence and revel in the scrumptious tea and cakes – or scones! - at The Old Bakery Tea Room. Discover over 500 species of birds by visiting Birdland Park & Gardens, which is a lovely spot to enjoy a picnic, surrounded by wildlife, or perhaps make a visit to the nearby village of Bourton-on-the-Water and discover a miniature replica of the Cotswold-stone village at The Model Village.

Lower Swell is every inch the classic Cotswolds village. Surrounded by rolling countryside this is quintessential Cotswolds in many ways. A cracking local pub is literally around the corner (run by a local brewery) along with a host of beautiful buildings including a pretty church. As you'd expect there are many walks into the surrounding countryside. As the cottage is located on the way 'out' of Lower Swell it is also very close Stow on the Wold, which is about 1 mile away, a 10 min walk up a foot path.
