Guests say

Daffodil Cottage is consistently praised for its quintessential English charm, idyllic location, and cosy, well-appointed interiors. Guests describe their stays as magical, peaceful, and perfect for relaxation, with special mentions of the beautiful garden and the thoughtful touches provided by the host.

There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide an accurate score for this category.

The location is highly commended for its tranquillity and beauty, with guests appreciating the proximity to Cirencester and local pubs. The peacefulness and accessibility to walks and surrounding villages contribute to the high score.

Comfort is frequently highlighted, with guests finding the cottage cosy and lovingly furnished. The presence of modern amenities alongside rustic charm ensures a comfortable stay, reflected in the high score.

Facilities are generally praised, especially the garden and wood burner. However, a comment about blunt knives suggests room for improvement in kitchen equipment, slightly lowering the score.

Guests frequently mention the thoughtful touches, such as a local produce basket and logs for the fire. While these are greatly appreciated, it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Wonderful rustic cottage with a rustic ambiance that takes you to another time, while still providing all the modern amenities you need. Perfectly situated in the center of the Cotswolds to allow easy drives to anywhere in the region. We would absolutely stay there again.
