Guests say

Courtyard Cottage in Kirkby Lonsdale receives high praise for its charming character, central location, and comfort. Guests appreciate the proximity to local amenities, the quaintness of the town, and the property's cleanliness. While some minor maintenance issues and noise disturbances are mentioned, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

The majority of guests found the cottage to be spotlessly clean, with only a few isolated comments about minor cleaning oversights. The high standard of cleanliness contributes positively to the overall experience.

The cottage's location is consistently praised for being central and convenient, offering easy access to local shops, restaurants, and beautiful countryside. Its proximity to amenities and attractions in Kirkby Lonsdale is a highlight for guests.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of the cosy atmosphere and comfortable beds. Some guests noted noise from neighbours and nearby businesses, which slightly impacted the comfort level for those sensitive to sound.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the cottage being well-equipped and thoughtfully furnished. However, there are comments about maintenance issues such as a dripping tap, TV connection problems, and the need for bathroom updates, leading to a slightly lower score.

While guests have mentioned a warm welcome and some nice touches, there is insufficient information about consistent thoughtful gestures such as gifts to accurately assess this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

The accommodation is spread over 3 floors and is very cosy with the temperature inside adequately maintained by the central heating. Shower is excellent and the beds are very comfortable, the Wi-Fi is excellent. In terms of surrounding accommodation and restaurants it ticks all the boxes, but the only downside we had was the level of noise from the Spice Restaurant and the property behind the lounge. We have a small dog and he is sensitive to noise which was not ideal given the proximity of these properties. Overall a nice stay over the festive period and good value for money

Had that been known, as it has been in other cottages we have looked at on other sites, we would likely not have chosen Courtyard Cottage. Similarly the restrictions with dogs on leads outside.

It's in the heart of Kirkby Lonsdale with elenty of pubs walking distance to choose from. Drop the bags off using the 1 hour free parking out front, but then dont forget to move it to one of the car parks or one of the free parking areas in Kirkby (a map of these is kindly provided in the pack). I'd definately recommend this cottage.
