The kitchen is light and airy with a door leading out to the walled garden, while the conservatory is home to the dining area with riverside views. Upstairs there are two comfortable king size bedrooms, both beautifully decorated with antique furnishings and charming ornaments. The bedrooms share a stylish contemporary bathroom with shower over bath. Outside, to the front of the property, a small terraced area overlooks the river and meadow beyond. To the rear of the cottage is a lovely walled garden, such a private and delightful setting to enjoy the fantastic garden pod which has a heater in so you can enjoy the outdoors all year round, and a mini fridge to keep your choice of beverage cool too, there is also a table and chairs for enjoying al fresco meals that you can cook on the brilliant Kadai fire bowl and grill, the fire bowl can be lowered on to another frame if desired, so ingenious A small iron bridge crosses over to the opposite side of the river where there is a small private riverside bank for enjoying peaceful picnics surrounded by nature. Need to know: 2 king size bedrooms with TV in one. 1 bathroom with shower over bath. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, coffee machine with small supply of complimentary capsules, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Wood burning stove (guests to provide their own logs). Under floor heating throughout the ground floor. TV/DVD player. Bluetooth speaker. Underfloor heating on the ground floor. Garden pod with heater, wine cooler, garden furniture and Kadai fire bowl and grill to cook on. Padlocked iron bridge to riverside bank. Pub within walking distance. There is ONE parking permit with the property that must be left at the property on departure. Other options are the village car park (300 yards from house) which is pay and display or street parking limited to 2 hours.. Please note that if you are over 6ft that there are low ceilings throughout the ground floor of the cottage.
