Bear Lake Lodge is praised for its serene location, comfortable accommodation, and friendly owners. Guests appreciate the dog-friendly environment, local walks, and the picturesque lake setting. While some guests mention issues with cleanliness and maintenance, the majority relish the peaceful retreat, the well-equipped cottage, and the beautiful views.
Most guests found the lodge clean and well-kept, though there were some concerns about dog hairs and odours in certain areas. The majority of reviews, however, do not highlight cleanliness as an issue, suggesting that these may be isolated incidents.
The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, proximity to local walks, and beautiful lake views. Despite one guest's difficulty with access during snowy weather, the location generally receives positive remarks for its peacefulness and natural beauty.
Guests frequently mention the comfort of the beds and the cosy setting of the lodge. Some reviews suggest room for improvement in certain amenities, but overall, the lodge is regarded as a comfortable retreat.
The lodge is well-equipped according to several reviews, with mentions of a well-stocked lake for fishing and good facilities for dogs. Some guests noted the lack of certain items like a freezer or updated kitchenware, but these do not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback.
While many guests express satisfaction with the hospitality and amenities provided, there is no specific mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.
