Nestled in the quaint village of Ashover in Derbyshire, set in the Amber Valley, is this delightful semi-detached house, Tuliptree. Set over two floors and sleeping up to four guests, Tuliptree is a fantastic family-friendly dwelling for your next adventure to the Peak District and Derbyshire Dales, enjoying close proximity to the towns of Matlock and Chesterfield. Look forward to cooking up a storm for your guests in the well-equipped kitchen, which has a handy washing machine for putting muddy clothes on a spin! Tuck into your delicious meal in the spacious living/dining room, before retiring to the plush leather sofa with a glass of wine to enjoy your favourite film on the Smart TV. As the evening draws to a close, head upstairs where you can catch your rest in one of two bedrooms, a generous double or a light and airy twin (with option to link beds), ensuring flexible sleeping arrangements for all parties. Kick start your day with a refreshing shower, before joining your guests in the delightful rear garden for an alfresco breakfast. Become acquainted with your local surroundings with a leisurely stroll into the village, where you will find a good-selection of pubs serving home-cooked meals and tasty Ashover Ales, a playground, a Post Office with a well-stocked village shop and church. Just a short drive away is the popular town of Matlock, where you can enjoy a romantic stroll on the Lover’s Walk, hop on an alpine-esque cable car as you embark towards the Heights of Abraham with cavern tours and a its own fossil museum. Venture up to the historical Nine Ladies Stone Circle, where you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and scenic views. Don’t forget to make a stop at the Pic Tor War Memorial, where you can soak up the history as well as the expansive views overlooking Matlock and over to RIber Castle. For a fun-filled family day out, be sure to treat the kids to a day out at Gullivers Kingdom, a fantastic theme park offering a host of attractions. Tuliptree makes for a wonderful getaway for an adventure with the whole family.

You will find everything you need right on your doorstep in Ashover, from a selection of welcoming pubs, including The Old Poets' Corner, where you can sample of the local Ashover Ales or the Crispin Inn, well-known for being one of the oldest pubs in the Peak District.
