A delightful, semi-detached, single-storey barn conversion, situated in open countryside, half a mile from the Peak District village of Hollington and just under six miles from Ashbourne. Lovingly converted, and decorated and furnished to a high standard, this charming cottage has two bedrooms, one double and one a twin that can be a super king-size double on request, as well as a welcoming sitting room and an enclosed garden in which to sit out and relax, all enjoying lovely views of the beautiful surrounding countryside. The village of Hollington offers a number of country pubs, while local walks take you through Osmaston Park and on to neighbouring villages where pubs and restaurants offer a range of food from snacks to a la carte meals. Visit the nearby market town of Ashbourne with its eccentric street plan, Georgian buildings and good selection of inns and restaurants, take advantage of excellent walking and cycling, including the Tissington Trail, or enjoy an action-packed day out at Alton Towers, before returning to your holiday home to plan the next day's activities! Ideally located for exploring this wonderful part of the Peak District, this delightful cottage makes a great family base.
