Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests found the cottage to be lovely and clean, with only a few isolated comments regarding the hot tub's cleanliness. The consistent mention of cleanliness in the reviews suggests a high standard maintained by the hosts.

The location is appreciated for its centrality and proximity to local shops and attractions. However, several guests noted the presence of road noise, which impacted the tranquillity for some. The balance of positive location attributes with the negative aspect of traffic noise informs the score.

Guests generally found the cottage cosy and the beds comfortable, with some negative remarks about the bed size and the plastic duvets. The overall comfort level is regarded as satisfactory, with room for improvement in bedding.

Facilities like the hot tub and summer house are highlights, though there are reports of maintenance issues with the hot tub and inaccuracies regarding gym availability. The presence of essential amenities contributes positively, but the need for better maintenance and accurate advertising affects the score.

Guests have mentioned appreciative gestures such as starter food items and a well-prepared information pack. While these thoughtful touches are noted, it is important to mention that such gifts are not guaranteed and may vary per stay.

Very comfortable and plenty of things to do mostly within a 20-30 minute drive. Owner was very friendly. Nice pub nearby but a shame it doesn’t do food. Fish and chip shop over the road but we didn’t actually try it. Only downside was the proximity of the road and there was almost a constant stream of lorry’s which didn’t really stop even through the night. Didn’t really disturb sleep but a bit annoying. All in all a nice stay.
