You could tell that the lodge had only been casually cleaned as there was a mass of tissue paper behind the sofa, slipper wrappers under the beds and a McDonald fries wrapper in the drawer system in the bedroom. There was no wifi because initially we hadn't been given the welcome book (never actually received it), and when we received the passcode, the wifi lasted only one day before crashing out. Finally, the cooking equipment is minimal. Don't expect to be about to cook yourself a meal unless you live off of microwave dishes.

The owners were fantastic, really friendly and helpful. The lodge itself was new and stunningly clean with all the basics provided and a couple of extra touches too.
