Although the owners were on holiday themselves they kept in touch with us and nothing was too much trouble. Saddle Rack is in a lovely quiet location and easy to find, Milo the Cat was very friendly as were the chickens and the 2 dogs. Accommodation itself was spotlessly clean and welcoming, everything we needed was to hand and the bed, well it was so big and so comfortable. Sadly we only stayed for a few days but we would strongly recommend this property

Very comfortable large bed. On suite shower and toilet with the bonus of a downstairs toilet. Stairlift was perfect at the end of a day touring and sight seeing. Ideally situated for walks and trips further afield. Hosts friendly and helpful Look forward to a return visit.

The location is fab, just outside the village, super quiet and on a laneway close to flat walks in all directions. The local pub is a ten minute walk. Louth, about a 15 minute drive away, is a beautiful historic village, has plenty of shops, lots of them local including several great deli / cheese / butchers shops, absolutely perfect for self catering. The cottage itself is nicely decorated and furnished, super clean and equipped with a good selection of high quality crockery and cookware. Bed was comfortable, bedding and towels are all good quality. The icing on the cake is the friendly owners, the welcome pack they left for us and being able to buy eggs from their own chooks! Fabulous stay. Would stay again if we are back in this area. Highly recommended.
