The Herb Garden is highly praised for its cleanliness, cosy atmosphere, and the warm welcome provided by hosts Jayne and Paul. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, the spotless accommodation, and the property's peaceful location. While some guests mention the convenience of the downstairs bathroom and the stairs, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire to return and recommending the property to others.
Reviewers consistently mention the spotless condition of the property, indicating a very high level of cleanliness. The repeated emphasis on the accommodation being 'very clean' and 'spotlessly clean' suggests exceptional standards maintained by the hosts.
The property's location is frequently described as peaceful and quiet, with easy access to local attractions, the coast, and the Lincolnshire Wolds. The village's charm and the proximity to Louth are also appreciated, contributing to a high location score.
Guests find the property cosy and comfortable, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The mention of a firm bed not suiting one guest slightly lowers the score, but overall, the comfort level is rated highly.
The facilities, including a fully equipped kitchen and a powerful shower, are well-received. The presence of a torch for navigating stairs at night and the mention of a well-designed property contribute to a high score. However, the mention of scents affecting an asthmatic guest indicates a slight need for attention to individual needs.
The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident through the welcome pack and local recommendations. While gifts such as welcome packs are warmly mentioned, it is important to note that such offerings are at the hosts' discretion and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Beautifully kept, well appointed both inside and the cosy, sunny, secluded courtyard garden. A great place to unwind and enjoy exploring the countryside and costal resorts of Lincolnshire.

We only had three nights. Used it to visit Skegness and Mablethorpe. Very clean and modern. The kitchen downstairs is well equipped. The sitting area and bedroom upstairs is exceptional. Unfortunately my fiancée broke her leg in February this year and sheâs still on the mend. It did make the stairs a tiny bit difficult for her. Hopefully when sheâs fully recovered we could visit again.
