Broadleaf Lodge sits on three acres of grounds within an active rural environment. A spacious individually designed house comfortably sleeps six adults, two children and welcomes two dogs. A homely and hospitable holiday venue built in 2003, is the perfect property for multi-generational families, couples and friends with pets wanting a staycation or workcation in Lincolnshire. Downstairs is a spacious living area, a fully appointed luxury kitchen/breakfast/dining room, a lounge with two great big comfy leather sofas, Smart TV and a log burner, free fuel supplied. The Snug an additional Tv or playroom with comfy sofa, Freeview, books, games and children's toys, the patio doors lead out to the rear garden which is fully enclosed with mature planting, patio and furniture. Walking through the property, conservatory has super views over the front paddock and is fantastic for relaxing on the reclining sofa whilst watch the others play with the outdoor games including Badminton, swing ball, croquet and football or play frisbee with the dog, there's plenty of space. Adjacent to the conservatory there is another patio with teak garden furniture to seat 8 and a Webber BBQ, ideal for dining alfresco in the warmer months. Upstairs was refurbished in 2022 to the highest of standards, hosting three well-appointed bedrooms. The Master bedroom is a massive family room with a king-size bed and a daytime truckle bed, which can be made up as two full-size single beds, and there is an en- suite to prepare for the day ahead. A pretty window seat overlooks the front paddock and driveway. The rear and front bedrooms have a Zip and Link Super king-size bed which can be twin beds on request, creating a bespoke sleeping experience. Indulge in a moment of relaxation in the luxury family bathroom, which offers a free-standing slipper bath and large walk-in shower. The covered balcony with bistro set overlooking the front paddock is an ideal spot for bird watching in the day or watching the bats at dusk. Skellingthorpe is a village and civil parish approximately four miles west of the city of Lincoln, with two pubs, a shop and a Post Office. The village was formerly home to RAF Skellingthorpe, known as 'Skelly' to the RAF personnel serving there, and was the host to one of many bomber airfields around the city of Lincoln. The village has ancient woodland to explore on foot, bicycle or horseback, with a variety of ancient oak, lime and conifers.

    Extremely peaceful location down a little lane.We loved sitting in the conservatory early evening watching all the birds on the huge front lawn.Very lucky with the weather which made a huge difference. Highly recommend.
