Two off-road parking spaces greet you at the property before a set of four steps up to the wooden decking area, which wraps around the side and rear of the lodge, overlooking the nearby lake and offering stunning views across the water. Upon entering the property, you're welcomed by the modern open-plan living space, perfect to keep your eye on the little ones as they settle in on the sofa to enjoy their favourite TV show whilst you prepare some tasty treats in the fully equipped kitchen. Gather the family around the dining table, with seating for four guests, and plan your next adventure or relish in the warmer weather of the summer months and venture out through the patio doors and onto the decking to enjoy a spot of alfresco dining in a tranquil setting overlooking the peaceful lake. As the night draws to a close you can settle down in one of the two bedrooms; the master bedroom is made up of 2 twins, and has access to an en-suite bathroom with basin and WC for your convenience. The second bedroom houses two 2'6" beds, with plenty of space to store your belongings, and is serviced by the family bathroom, featuring a walk-in shower. It'll be all hands on deck as you enjoy your stay at Mandarin Lodge, with plenty of activities to do on site at Billing Aquadrome such as taking the kids for a splash around at the indoor swimming pool, having a spin on the waltzers at the funfair and taking the evening off playing chef and enjoying a delicious meal at the restaurant. If you're tired out from all of the excitement then head over to the Marina where you can enjoy a glass of wine and soak in the peaceful serenity as you cast your gaze over the lake. Discover the local history with a visit to Northampton, home to the only house in England designed by the architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh, originally built in 1815 and subsequently restored as a museum, and take a stroll around Sywell Country Park, built around a former reservoir, featuring meadows, a playground and a native butterfly garden or work up an appetite with a round of golf at Kingsthorpe Golf Club followed by a trip to one of the many eateries in town. Travel further afield to the town of Milton Keynes where thrill seekers can spend the day enjoying the theme park attractions at Gullivers Dinosaur and Farm Park or learning to wakeboard on Willen Lake. Great Billing rests within the East Midlands, close to the market town of Northampton.
