The reclining sofa and TV with Netflix were very welcome and the large hot tub was fantastic after a day out. The owners, Jackie and Mick, maintain it daily (when you are out), so it is super-clean. A cross trainer in the garage was used daily by a daughter. The far-reaching view is incredible from the decking and patio windows. A great base for exploring - we went to so many places, from four National Trust properties to Cromford Mill, Bakewell and the Derbyshire Dales. Plus, Newstead Abbey and Papplewick Pumping Station are both on the doorstep and fascinating. A fun stay!

The house is well stocked with essentials and the welcome goodies are a nice thought. The house is in a good location to explore the Peak District and the hot tub is lovely to enjoy after a day out especially after a long walk. We really enjoyed our stay at Hollinwell View.
