Guests say

Burley Lodge in Oakham offers a comfortable and private retreat with excellent service. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, the well-equipped cabins, and the helpful hotel staff. While some guests encountered issues with maintenance and noise, the overall experience is positive, with many looking forward to returning.

Reviews on cleanliness are mixed, with some guests finding the cabins spotless while others noted issues with oven cleanliness and bathroom tidiness. The positive comments suggest good standards, but there is room for improvement.

The location is generally praised for its proximity to local amenities and Rutland Water, despite some concerns about crossing a busy road. The scenic setting and convenience for exploring the area are highlighted.

Comfort levels are high, with the lodge described as warm and well-decorated. However, some guests found the beds hard and the seating arrangements inadequate, slightly affecting the overall comfort score.

Facilities are well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped cabin. Nevertheless, issues with a missing remote control, hard beds, and a request for additional seating not being met indicate that maintenance and responsiveness could be enhanced.

There is insufficient information regarding thoughtfulness, such as gifts or special touches provided by the host, to accurately score this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.
