Elm Lodge is highly praised for its peaceful setting, comfortable king-size beds, and private hot tubs. Guests appreciate the friendly staff, well-equipped lodges, and thoughtful welcome gifts. While some minor issues with comfort and maintenance are noted, the overall experience is one of relaxation and enjoyment in a beautiful countryside location.
Most guests found the lodge to be clean and well-maintained, though a few noted areas for improvement such as dust and cobwebs. The majority of reviews, however, reflect a high standard of cleanliness.
There is insufficient information in the reviews to accurately assess the location. No specific comments regarding the location's convenience, scenery, or accessibility were provided.
The lodge is generally considered comfortable, especially the king-size beds. However, some guests found the sofas and outdoor furniture to be less comfortable, slightly affecting the overall comfort score.
Facilities like the hot tub and on-site cafe are appreciated, but there are concerns about the additional cost for swimming and some maintenance issues like heating problems and slippery patio areas.
Guests frequently mention welcome gifts, which are well-received as a thoughtful touch. It should be noted that such gifts are a courtesy and may not be guaranteed with every stay.

It is so peaceful, with a very private garden and hot tub. The lodge is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. There are thermostats in every room for the underfloor heating so you can select what you want, the kitchen has a full range of crockery, cutlery, cookware and utensils, also a washer/dryer and dishwasher. There are plenty fluffy towels and bathrobes. There is a smart TV in the lounge and both bedrooms, a DVD player and radio/CD unit. This was our fourth stay and we will definitely return.

The site is well maintained and secure. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Absolutely love this site. The only negative is the garden furniture is rather heavy and uncomfortable. Will not stop us from coming back though.

Secluded garden with hot tub an added bonus. Lots of places to visit within a few miles so ideally situated.
