Beech Lodge in Oakham, Lincolnshire, receives high praise for its luxury lodges, complete with saunas and hot tubs. Guests appreciate the comfortable beds, privacy, and the welcoming touches such as welcome packs. The surrounding area, including Oakham and Stamford, is noted for its charm. While Wi-Fi connectivity and some maintenance issues are mentioned, the overall experience is one of relaxation and enjoyment, with many guests planning to return.
Guests consistently note the lodge as spotless and clean, contributing to a relaxing and comfortable stay. The attention to cleanliness is evident in the reviews, with many guests expressing satisfaction with the state of the lodge upon arrival.
The lodge's location is frequently praised for its proximity to Oakham and Stamford, offering a mix of tranquillity and convenience. The local market town charm and nearby boutique shops add to the appeal, although detailed comments on location are limited.
Comfort is highly regarded, with guests mentioning the luxurious beds and underfloor heating. However, some guests noted issues with uncomfortable pillows and mattresses, which slightly impacts the overall comfort score.
The facilities, including the hot tub, sauna, and swimming pool, are generally appreciated, but some guests experienced issues with Wi-Fi and maintenance. The presence of a cafe and the quality of food are well-received, but the limited free swimming and occasional maintenance delays affect the score.
While guests mention welcome packs and special touches, the reviews do not consistently indicate that these are a standard offering for all guests. As such, while these gestures are appreciated, it cannot be guaranteed that they are provided to every guest, and therefore a score cannot be assigned.

We were able to explore the area, which was my last RAF Posting at RAF North Luffingham, as well as revisiting our old house in Newark. Internet is quicker than at Home so not problems accessing the internet. Well worth a stay
