Guests generally appreciate the tranquil location, comfortable lodgings, and the helpful staff at the holiday rental property. The property offers a secure, well-equipped environment with easy access to local amenities and natural surroundings. While some cleanliness issues were noted, the overall experience has been positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
Cleanliness received mixed reviews. Some guests found the property clean and well-maintained, while others reported issues with dust, ants, and general upkeep. The presence of leftover food and a dirty BBQ were also noted, slightly lowering the score.
The location is highly praised for its tranquillity and proximity to Rutland water and local amenities. The gated community adds a sense of security, and the natural setting with wildlife is appreciated by guests.
Most guests found the lodges comfortable, with cosy beds and sufficient space. The peaceful environment contributed to the comfort level, although one review mentioned tired-looking lodgings, suggesting some variability.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with lodges being well-equipped. However, maintenance issues like a non-functioning hot water tap and a dirty, rusty BBQ affected the score. The prompt response to an internet outage was a positive aspect.
There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches in the reviews provided, so it is not possible to assess this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

It was a quiet well designed site giving privacy and peace amongst wildlife. The eco-house was spacious with plenty everything you need and other attractive design features. The two small paddocks were perfect to give a quick lead walk to the dog at each end of the day. On the surface it looked clean and well equipped. Our dog found a pair of a previous guests shoes under the coffee table - this area had not been cleaned for a long time. Apart from that we had no complaints and a perfect retreat from busy lives. The proximity of the hotel was convenient for meals which like everything else was of the highest quality. We would highly recommend the site for adults as a base for this fantastic area. Thank you.

It is convenient being near family and friends. We found this one the most comfortable and generally clean and tidy. It has a comfortable sofa and an armchair for my husband. There are plenty of eating places to go to nearby. We'd recommend Hambleton Bakery, Harbour cafe at Rutland water and Barnsdale Gardens. If you need all your accommodation on ground level, as we do, these lodges are perfect. It's nice and quiet and surrounded by shrubs and trees. Lots of birds around the property, Nuthatch, house and tree sparrows and rabbits.

the booking was easy, the instructions were clear, the entry was easy. The concerns we had was the amount of food that was left in a cupboard and a drawer from previous people. Also the dust generally that was floating around on the wooden floor and the bedside cabinets were also dusty on the top. This really is unacceptable. Having said this the property was nice and cosy and had a lovely comfy bed.
