Very well appointed with all you need. We had a few issues which were dealt with swiftly by team at Barnsdale Hotel. The staff were all most helpful and friendly. We shall certainly return . Staff at Sykes cottages were very efficient with this booking when we had to change dates. On a negative note. Please change the vacuum cleaner. It is dreadful. Couldn't use because of the smell.

Internet was poor unable to use the tv streaming services. Shower ran out of hot water very quickly so had to be advanced an hour before the next member of the family could use it. The furnishings were very good The kitchen was well fitted out. The lodge itself was very nice and the lawns around and hedges were full of birds and insect life. Apart from some noise from a nearby road it was very peaceful Itâs well sited for nearby walks around Rutland lakes or cycle rides. Lots of great pubs nearby. Would stay there again but I hope the Wi-Fi and hot water are remedied.
