The county Rutland village of Greetham is positioned in a lovely part of the country, some six miles from the town of Oakham. It is also close to Rutland Water, which hosts many outdoors activities, while the village itself has two pubs, a village shop and the Greetham Valley Golf Club. The Georgian market town of Stamford is also easily reached from here and the cities of Leicester and Nottingham are also worth a visit.

Great reception people. Very quiet which suits us. Well-appointed Lodge with all facilities. Thanks for the chocs and fizz! A lovely pub (The Plough) 10 minutes walk awayâexcellent food at the Wheatsheaf We didn't need the hot tub, so some way of turning it off to save energy would be good. Thank you very much. We would go back.

It had everything youâd need from a hairdryer to a dish washer. Washing machine was an added bonus. I must mention the bathrobes- luxurious and comfy cosy. Very relaxed quiet atmosphere thru the day. Very cosy at night Definitely a place Iâd go back too
