Guests say

Willow Lodge in Oakham offers a tranquil retreat with high-quality lodges, often praised for their comfort and luxury touches such as hot tubs, saunas, and welcome packs. The serene location is ideal for strolls into the village, and the property is well-received for its peaceful environment and friendly staff. While some maintenance issues were noted, the overall experience is one of relaxation and enjoyment, with many guests eager to return.

Most guests found the lodges to be clean, with particular praise for the bathrooms. However, some noted areas for improvement, such as kitchen cleanliness and dustiness, suggesting occasional oversights in housekeeping.

The location is highly regarded for its beauty and proximity to local pubs and attractions. The peaceful setting and accessibility to nearby villages contribute to a positive experience.

Guests frequently mention the lodges as cosy and well-appointed, with underfloor heating and comfortable beds. Some guests, however, found the beds too firm or too soft, indicating comfort levels may be subjective.

Facilities like hot tubs, saunas, and swimming pools are appreciated, but some guests experienced maintenance issues with hot tub lights and sauna operation. The presence of a welcome pack and other amenities adds to the positive feedback.

The provision of welcome packs, including treats like prosecco and eggs, is frequently mentioned and adds a thoughtful touch to the stay. However, it should be noted that such gifts are complimentary and subject to availability.

Great reception people. Very quiet which suits us. Well-appointed Lodge with all facilities. Thanks for the chocs and fizz! A lovely pub (The Plough) 10 minutes walk away—excellent food at the Wheatsheaf We didn't need the hot tub, so some way of turning it off to save energy would be good. Thank you very much. We would go back.

It had everything you’d need from a hairdryer to a dish washer. Washing machine was an added bonus. I must mention the bathrobes- luxurious and comfy cosy. Very relaxed quiet atmosphere thru the day. Very cosy at night Definitely a place I’d go back too
