Set over three floors, you enter into a hallway where you can leave your muddy boots behind before finding the kitchen. Equipped to a quality standard, you will have no trouble whipping up a sumptuous feast with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave and a fridge/freezer on hand, while the adjacent dining table will suit all your entertaining needs. There is also a small sitting area where you can break away from the group to enjoy a private read or take some time to reflect on the holiday so far. Moving through the house, the first floor plays host to a more sociable lounge with seating for up to six people and TV with Sky Q box, perfect for a movie night or to simply catch up on your favourite programmes. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone.
