A climb to the summit of Grange Fell (6 miles) will reward you with breathtaking views and ticks off two Wainwrights in the process. Alternatively, take a ride on one of the elegant launches across Derwentwater (3.5 miles) to Keswick, and enjoy a peaceful stroll back along the water s edge. Further afield, Lake District gems such as Skiddaw and Scafell Pike are within 12 miles. This gorgeous first floor apartment is decorated in a contemporary style, with chic furniture and elegant touches throughout. Climb the stairs to the hallway, where you ll discover the fabulous open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, boasting a roaring wood burner and picture window framing the magnificent views down the valley. The slate/brick wall surrounding the fireplace is a splendid feature, adding real character to the room.
