We plan to return in 2025 for our 4th visit to Graysondale. Thoroughly recommended

Small but perfectly formed and fantastically well equipped. We have stayed in many cottages over the years and this had everything required down to foil and clingfilm, enough toilet rolls (lost count of the places we have stayed that haven't) and every kitchen item you could wish for. Sarah was a fantastic host too without being intrusive and all communication and the welcome pack were great. An excellent base for this part of the world.

Sadly the weather wasnât playing ball, but we made the very best of our time. Lovely, comfy, cosy cottage, with a garden and swings and slides for the little ones.. The highlight was the barbecue hut which we used one night, and cooked burgers and pizzas with toasted marshmallows for after..Big hit with the kids! Was a lovely week in a quieter part of the Lake District, but close enough to visit all the tourist hotspots for days out.. Nice to come back to a peaceful cottage at the end of a busy day. Great hosts..
