About this property

Situated in the pretty town of Cockermouth, William Wordsworth s birthplace. Great location to explore the Western Fells and Lakes Grasmoor, Fleetwith Pike, Haystacks. Buttermere, Crummock Water, Loweswater and Whinlatter Forest are all close by. Why not try GO Ape or hire bikes and explore the forest trails. The shore path at Bassenthwaite runs the length of the west shore, or visit the Lake District Wildlife Park or go for a distillery tour. For something a little different why not walk an alpaca or abseil 120ft into a disused quarry. The Taste Cumbria food festival is on twice a year, usually in September and November with a huge range of local produce as well as live music which take place around the town.
