Situated within walking distance of Cockermouth, this impressive holiday home holiday cottage at High Moor offers comfortable and stylish self-catering accommodation for couples and small families. The property is set in the grounds of a large and beautiful garden, which guests are welcome to make use of.
Cockermouth is a great starting point to explore the Lake District being within easy access of the quieter, western side yet having all the comforts and ease of the services Cockermouth has to offer with its supermarket, butcher, baker, cafes, pubs, restaurants and cinema. Loweswater Lake is the property's nearest lake with lovely woodland walks and a tranquil escape from day to day living. For the more energetic, Skiddaw is one of the highest mountains in the Lake District and is a 15 minute drive away. Or Keswick is twenty minutes away with its busy centre and Derwentwater Lake which has rowing boats, self drive motor boats and the launch.
The front door leads to the kitchen which is clean and modern. It is fully equipped with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, small freezer, dishwasher and storage space. A welcome pack of wine, tea, coffee, milk and biscuits greets you upon arrival. For those who like to be woken with fresh coffee, there is a cafetiere with coffee provided.
The sitting room next door is light and spacious. It has widescreen TV with DVD player plus an assortment of books and games to borrow. There is a gas fire for additional warmth.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms - one with a set of adult sized bunks, the other with a king bed. There is also a bathroom with a walk in shower.
Outside there is use of a large garden which is shared with High Moor Cottage and the owners who live in High Moor House. By the cottage is a patio with garden furniture for the exclusive use of guests staying at the property.

- Please note for guests with children there is a water feature in the large garden and children should be supervised at all times
- Please note, the property only allows small - medium size dogs. Dogs must be over 1 year of age
