This spacious farmhouse is in the peaceful north-west corner of the Lake District National Park. The property accommodates 12 guests across five bedrooms, as well as welcoming four dogs, making it ideal for groups of friends or family who enjoy an outdoor lifestyle. You can explore both the lakes and fells from the property, as well as spend days at the seaside on the Cumbrian coast. Beautiful Bassenthwaite Lake is just 8 miles from the property, and further afield you’ll find Derwentwater (15 miles). At the end of the day, relax in one of the two living areas or challenge your fellow guests to a game of pool in the games room. All five bedrooms have en-suite facilities, making it nice and easy to get everyone up and out in the morning.

The farmhouse is full of character, with exposed beams and stonework throughout. The warm and inviting lounge is a lovely spot to chill out after an action-packed day; get cosy in front of the wood burner and watch a film on the TV. A further snug area, again with a wood burner, provides a quiet place to enjoy five minutes’ peace with a book. Steps lead to the games room, where you can spend quality time with friends or family over a game of pool, snooker, or darts. The kitchen/diner has everything you need to rustle up a tasty meal for the group, to share around the large dining table. All five bedrooms are located on the first floor and have en-suite facilities as well as TVs. On the second floor is a beautiful family bathroom, where you can soak in the roll-top bath and admire the stars through the skylight – pure bliss! Outside is an enclosed, landscaped garden with two patio areas for al fresco dining. There is also a stream, so children and dogs must be supervised. The farmhouse has ample off-road parking.
