The place is decorated & furnished to a high standard. The kitchen had everything you needed to self cater. It's just a shame there was no washing machine as I think that would be more beneficial to guests than a dishwasher! The tv has plenty channels to watch but the only issue was Netflix as we could not log in using our acct as previous guests had not logged out after they had watched it. Overall, a fab accommodation and we will definitely stay again. 10/10

Great shower head with instant hot water. Lovely comfy beds. Off road parking was good too. Great central base to visit other areas of the beautiful Lake District. Lovely seating area at the rear, where we sat out in the sunshine. We were not disturbed by anyone "passing through" during our time there. Town of Cockermouth has many shops, pubs and eateries. Restaurants to suit all tastes, but we highly recommend a visit to Aspava. The Castle was our favourite pub with a beer garden on three levels. All in all a great place to stay. Would recommend.

Lovely to have the welcome pack, very much appreciated. Did find it difficult each night getting into bed with such a small space between bed and wall. Did not know that next door had right of way through back yard into her property, this meant car had to be moved to allow her access. She was'nt very pleasant either. Shame pain peeling off wall by front door although rest of property was decorated to a high standard. Pedal bin lever had een repaired but kept falling off. Great access for town.
