Wrenville is a well-regarded cottage in Keswick, praised for its excellent location and comfortable living spaces. Guests appreciate the proximity to local amenities and the views of the surrounding area. While some minor maintenance issues and cleanliness concerns are noted, the overall experience is positive, with many guests enjoying their stay and expressing a desire to return.
Cleanliness scores vary, with several guests finding the property clean and tidy upon arrival, while others report issues such as dirty kitchen utensils and bathrooms. The inconsistency in cleanliness experiences has led to a slightly above average score.
The location is highly praised for its convenience to Keswick centre, beautiful park, and easy access to local attractions. The downside is some noise from the busy road, but the benefits of the location generally outweigh this for most guests.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of the beds and spacious living area. However, some guests note issues with noise from the road and suggest improvements such as better pillows and double glazing to enhance comfort.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and good washer/dryer. However, recurring maintenance issues such as broken blinds and appliances, and the lack of hot water for the bath, have impacted the score.
There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts in the reviews, so it is not possible to score this category.

The only way to solve this would to have even thicker glazing.

Having a dedicated parking space was great as it took away any stress of having to find parking when we'd been out for the day. Clean, bright, airy and well equipped with nice views of Latrigg from upstairs. A short walk (10/15 minutes) from the town and lake. Some reviews mention road noise but at night we found it quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Washer and drier arrangements were good, and much needed due to the wet weather during part of our stay. Beds were comfortable and shower was strong and as warm as we wanted. Kitchen, eating and living areas were well designed and comfortable. Setting near the park is excellent and we enjoyed the park and its facilities. Close to the Main Street and excellent access to stores and restaurants.
