Guests say

Fell Sweep is a well-regarded cottage in Keswick, praised for its cleanliness, prime location, and the convenience of off-road parking. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable living spaces, and the sunny garden. While some guests mentioned issues with mattresses and dishwasher, the overall experience is positive, making it a recommended stay for exploring the local area.

The property consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests noting it as clean and well-maintained. There was a single mention of some overlooked areas, but this seems to be an exception rather than the rule.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the town and local attractions, with the added benefit of private parking. It serves as an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area.

Comfort is generally well-received with comfortable sofas and a large bath. However, there are several mentions of uncomfortable mattresses, suggesting room for improvement in this area.

Facilities are adequate with a well-equipped kitchen and efficient heating. However, there are recurring issues with the dishwasher and DVD player, and suggestions for safety improvements in the bathroom.

While guests have not specifically mentioned gifts, there is a note regarding the lack of small welcoming touches like teabags and milk. As such, it's not possible to score thoughtfulness based on gifts, and guests should not expect these items as part of their stay.

We coped and the property was lovely but it would have been better if it had been as advertised. If it matched the information as per the beds we would definitely go back to stay as location and property were lovely.

We did leave a note but in case you don't get the feedback, a light in the lounge and needs the bulb replacing plus another one flickers. In the house bathroom the door lock needs attention and for safety reasons there should be a rail to hold onto to get into the bath/shower. There were two small towels short for 6 persons but as there were only four of us we were ok.

It seemed the cleaning staff cut a few corners this year, dirt under dinings chairs, dusty areas etc, but toilets and kitchen and all main areas were clean.
