Keswick is a historic market town in the heart of the Lake District. It's best known for its stunning scenery and outdoor activities, but there's also plenty to see and do in town. The Derwent Pencil Museum is a must-visit for fans of art and history, while the Puzzling Place is perfect for puzzle enthusiasts of all ages. Keswick Museum is also worth a visit, showcasing the town's rich history and culture. When it comes to food and drink, Keswick has something to offer everyone. Ideal location for both the town centre and the lake. Very quiet even though close to the main road. Housekeeper (Angela) was very helpful. The plumbread and jam and fresh milk on arrival was a nice touch. Also on arrival there was a pack containing scourers, washing up liquid, dishcloth etc - this is not always the case in other places we have stayed

The bed is extremely comfortable. A great location for the lake and Keswick town. The keyless entry system was a bonus. Car parking is a little tight, but manageable if you reverse in. We will definitely return again.

Very comfortable big bed. Lovely large bathroom. The kitchen space is quite small, which is not much of a problem for 2 people, but thereâs not much space to store food. It also suffered from my pet hate of there not being a generous amount of crockery and cutlery. The bedroom is cosy but again, storage is limited. I would get rid of the pointless armchair in there and put in a small chest of drawers. We had a fantastic stay though, and unusually for us, will probably go back.
