This well-presented wooden lodge is tucked away on the peaceful Burnside Park on the outskirts of Keswick. Immersed in the picturesque Lake District scenery, Robin’s Nest offers a tranquil escape for couples seeking a break filled with outdoor adventure. Upon arrival discover two off-road parking spaces adjacent to the property, as you take a moment to appreciate the fresh Lake District breeze before heading inside. Spend your down time in the open-plan living space, appointed with a leather sofa and armchair in front of the electric fire, plus there’s a TV from which you can catch up on your favourite shows. Dust off those cooking books and impress in the kitchen, equipped with all the necessary appliances for a short break, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and even a washer/dryer, so you can easily pop your clothes on a wash. Head through the patio doors to reach the decking area, appointed with a set of outdoor furniture from which you can enjoy alfresco dining or simply a cold beverage on a warm afternoon. Get comfortable for the night ahead with a refreshing shower before climbing into the double bed and dreaming about the next adventure. Those feeling energetic can embark on a number of walking routes from the door, including the mighty Skiddaw. Wander into Keswick and find many things to do, including visiting the local shops and pubs, some excellent parks and even the Pencil Museum. For more glorious scenery, Derwentwater is worth a visit, as well as Ullswater and the Aira Force Waterfall, offering the perfect setting for nature observing. The Keswick Adventure Centre offers canoeing and kayaking opportunities, while those who would prefer a more leisurely afternoon can indulge in a picnic at Friars Crag or tuck into a hearty meal in a local pub. There is something for everyone, from a quiet countryside stroll to a tough walk up Skiddaw or the famed Catbells. Take a boat excursion around Derwentwater or see Castlerigg Stone Circle, Jennings Brewery, and Mirehouse, a stately house and gardens on the Bassenthwaite Lake's shoreline.     Had a lovely break nice and relaxing the steps going into lodge where a bit spaced out could do with the gap not being so big between slats but would go back
